Plagiarism Policy

The author must agree to the problem of plagiarism, therefore the submitted paper must be free from plagiarism. Authors should check for indications of plagiarism using a similarity checker. Before publication in the journal, articles will be double-checked by the editor using Turnitin to check for similarities, with a minimum policy of 25%.

Notes to Authors

EDUCOUNS GUIDANCE: Journal of Educational and Counseling Guidance will assess each case of plagiarism based on its own merits. If only plagiarism is detected, either by the editor, peer-reviewers or editorial staff at any stage before publication of the manuscript – before or after acceptance, during editing or at the page checking stage, we will notify the author, then ask him to rewrite the text or quote text appropriately and cite the original source. If the plagiarism is extensive – that is, if at least 25% of the original submission is plagiarized – the article may be rejected and the author's institution/company notified. We therefore strongly advise authors to check the contents of the article thoroughly before submitting it to our journal for publication. We ask authors to use.
